We are able to design the correct screw tipassembly set for the right polymer.

Special anti friction coatings available.

One of the main problems with plastification of sensitive polymers, is the friction in the tipassembly which can distroy and overheat the melt. In our filosofy both screw and tipassembly should work together and create a optimal melt condition.

Body

Tip assemblies from diameter 30 mm up, the body is made from 34CrAlNi7 material (1,8550). The fights are Plasma welded with eutalloy borotec 10009 to have wear resistant layer between body and checkring.

Tip assemblies smaller than 30 mm the body is made from through hardened material X155CrMoV12, (1,2379) The threat is tempered to avoid breaking.

Checkring + seat

For the checkring and seat, we recommend, based on our experience, the use of hardened material with a hardness of 58 to 62 HRC. We can offer standard materials like X155CrMoV12, (1,2379) but laternative also special powder metallurgical (KPM1 or KPM2) for wear and or corriosion improvemens with or without coatings.
